1. Invest in yourself

This is the best thing that you can do to up level up your business or your life. Your business is going to grow to the level that you grow yourself.

It is paramount that you are constantly learning and getting better both in your personal life and also as an entrepreneur.

If you are able to do this on a consistent basis, then you will set an incredible foundation to go to the next level.

Set aside one hour each day to learn something new or hone a key skill required to help you succeed.

2. Simplify your business

You will need to simplify your business. A simple business is easier to scale up. Business comes down to just 5 key things.

Marketing System:

You have got to be clear about who is it that you want to attract.

You have got to put together campaigns which really talk to them, and you are able to then attract those sorts of prospects.

Sales system:

Once you have the prospect in front of you, you have got to have a system where you are able to convert them.

So the second thing is to have a sales system.

Product system:

Once you have the sales system in place, then it’s so important that you have a product system.

The product system is focused on making sure that you are able to deliver the product.

Don’t just deliver the product, but have ways in which you are able to innovate.

Operations:

It is so important to be customer-centric and be able to serve the customer really well.

If you are in a service business, one of the best things you can do to scale up your business is to productize it;

That is the glue that holds all of the things together.

Financial systems:

You have to make sure that you have got strong financial systems.

You are to be able to read specific statements, you are able to get reports quickly, and when you need them, in formats that are easy for you to understand.

You don’t have to put those together; you can outsource to teams who can put that together.

All these systems are held together by the right people. Build a team that is passionate about your mission and competent to deliver on all the 5 systems.

Focus on Marketing

Business comes down to these five things.

One of the things that could to go wrong is that entrepreneurs don’t spend enough time on marketing.

You should be looking to spend at least 50% of your time on marketing because it’s marketing that really gets in the business.

3. Enjoy the journey

Everyone tells you, think big and I quite agree with thinking big and setting big goals.

One of the key things along the way is once you have set that big goal, is enjoy the process, enjoy the journey. .

You should be one of these people who are not so fixated on achieving that big goal that you forget to focus on enjoying the journey.

There are a lot of people that have got the success formula the wrong way around.

What they think is that if I achieve, I will be happy.

But instead, it is the other way around. You really need to focus on happily achieving.
